Resumption of winter season
Most schools in the PHAC will resume the winter season on Monday, 1/4/21. Per PIAA guidelines each school will be required to have 4 days of practice before events can be scheduled. Basketball, Swimming/Diving and Wrestling competitions may begin on Friday, 1/8/21, provided a school has reached the required 15 days of practice prior to the shutdown.

Coronavirus
With the Governor's new mitigation guidelines all extracurricular activities, including practices and events, are suspended until Monday, January 4, 2021. Please remember to stay safe and follow the Governor's orders to wear a mask when social distancing can't be done. Stopping the spread is the only way we can keep the student/athletes in school and on the courts. Do your part!

The PHAC offers league championships in Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Boys Track and Girls Track. As we get closer to the dates, matchups and results will be posted under the "Championships" section of the website.

Become An Official
Shamokin
Kemp Memorial Stadium (JH/JV/Varsity Football)
From Route 61 South going towards Shamokin. Coming into Shamokin turn right at the Cameron Bridge (there are signs before the bridge and after it to the school). Turn left at the light across the bridge on to 2nd street. At the first red light turn right on Walnut St. (Follow the signs to the High School). Go straight until you can't go anymore and turn left at the stop sign at Woodlawn Avenue. Go straight down the hill until you can't go anymore at the second stop sign. Turn right on Lynn Street and continue straight to the second stop sign at Jackson Street. You will see Kemp Memorial Stadium to your left.
Middle/High School (Volleyball, JV/Varsity Boys/Girls Basketball, JH/Varsity Wrestling)
From Route 61 South going towards Shamokin. Turn Right at the bridge then left at the light on to 2nd street (see signs). At the first red light turn right on Walnut St. (Follow the signs to the High School). Go straight until you can't go anymore and turn left at the stop sign on to Woodlawn Avenue. Go straight down the hill to the second stop sign on Lynn Street. Turn right and continue straight to the second stop sign. You will see Kemp Memorial Stadium and the high school up on the hill. Turn left and follow the road around and up to the high school. Drop off in front, upper side, of the school at the gym entrance.
Cross Country (start at Kemp Memorial Stadium)
Softball and Soccer Fields (JH/Varsity Soccer, JV/Varsity Softball)
From Route 61 South going towards Shamokin. Turn Right at the bridge then left at the light on to 2nd street (see signs for school). At the first red light turn right on Walnut St. (Follow the signs to the High School). Go straight on Walnut Street until you can't go anymore. Turn left at the stop sign on to Woodlawn Avenue. Go straight down the hill to the second stop sign on Lynn Street. Turn right and continue straight to the second stop sign. You will see Kemp Memorial Stadium straight ahead and the high school up on the hill. Bear left towards the stadium (do not take a sharp left down the hill). Follow the road to the right of the stadium, continue past the baseball field to the stop sign (follow the road over the speed bumps). Continue straight past the swimming pool on the right, the Softball and Soccer fields will be on the left and straight ahead respectively.
Elementary Annex Gymnasium (JH Boys/Girls Basketball)
From The South
Follow Rt 61 South Towards Shamokin, Rt 61 will change from 4 lane to 2 lane and you will come to a bridge. Go straight over the "Cameron Bridge" past Jack Williams Tire, Co. (Do not follow the signs at the bridge for the high school). Bear left on Rt 61 on to Sunbury Street. At the first red light (Dunkin Donuts) turn right on to Market Street. At the second light (Arch Street) turn left. The Annex is located the block behind the Turkey Hill store.
From The North
Follow Rt 61 North into Shamokin. Rt 61 merges into Sunbury Street. Follow Rt 61/Sunbury Street to the 3rd stop light at the Dunkin Donuts. Turn left on to Market Street and continue to the 2nd light (Arch Street). Turn left on to Arch Street, the Annex is located the block behind the Turkey Hill store.
